  • Structural stabilization and weatherproofing of the northern half of gold mill
  • Dutchmen repairs to structural posts and complete sill replacement
  • Sistering and replacement of failed roof joists
  • Installation of metal structural plates and tie rods for additional support
  • Selective placement of rough-sawn wood siding
  • Restoration of 4 dormers including asphalt siding to match original construction
  • Complete metal roof replacement

  • Listed on Colorado Preservation Inc.’s Most Endangered Places List in 2004
  • Connected to the adjacent gold mine with a 1,750 ft. aerial tramway
  • Gold milling operations closed in 1951
