Exterior Preservation and Rehabilitation

Complete facade restoration and electrical upgrades to the 1897 Avery Building, the “Queen” of Fort Collins’ Old Town National Register Historic District.

Project Scope

Restoration work including:

• Complete building façade restoration
• Original storefront replication with prismatic glass and reinstallation of transom windows
• Reconstruction of pressed tin storefront cornice
• Window and door restoration including replication of brass hardware
• Sandstone repair and replacement, brick masonry pointing and restoration
